Call for Tender “Video interviews: best practice examples of sustainable tourism”

The video case studies (max 2 min) should present concrete ideas and innovations across the three countries presented in an inspiring way, to motivate other people to improve sustainability in their businesses and engage with World Heritage and its protection.

Best practice examples from businesses across the Wadden Sea World Heritage and the positive steps they have taken should be presented in a video interview. This should inspire other stakeholders to  also engage with World Heritage and nature conservation and at the same time profit from.

These case studies should be presented in a “story telling“ approach: talking about how persons have dealt with sustainability in relation to the protection of the Wadden Sea, what challenges and risks they had to overcome, and how this has impacted their business (in terms of economic success, but also in terms of profiling and reputation).

Call for Tender “Video-Clip on sustainable tourism in the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site”

The production of a video-clip on sustainable tourism in the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site will be carried out in the framework of the Interreg IVB project “PROWAD – Protect and Prosper”.As outlined in the attached call, the aim of the (animated) video is to explain the Outstanding Universal Value of the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site and how visitors can experience the Wadden Sea in a sustainable way.

The feasibility study for a World Heritage Cooperation Programme will be carried in the framework of the Interreg IVB project “PROWAD – Protect and Prosper” (www.prowad.org).As outlined in the attached call, the main aim of the project is to get an overview of existing relevant partnership programmes, how this can be connected to the values of World Heritage, and which concrete next steps are necessary to develop a consistent approach in the three countries for the entire property.

Call for Tender: Teaching Resource

Development of a Teaching Resource about the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site

Within the framework of the PROWAD project WWF Germany is looking for a competent agency for the development of an innovative teaching resource to facilitate the preparation of class trips to the Wadden Sea World Heritage destination. The material should be developed respectively translated in German, Dutch and Danish with a German version as primary material. Further details are specified in the Terms of Reference.
